Deep cleaning · Cincinnati

For when a normal clean will not cut it.

Everything a standard clean does, plus the parts nobody gets to — baseboards, door frames, behind and under furniture, built-up grime and grout. The reset before you go back to regular visits.

Why people book this one

We get behind things

Furniture moved where it is safe to, so the dust that has been sitting there for a year actually leaves the house.

Buildup, not just surface dirt

Soap scum, hard water, grease film on cabinet tops, grout that has gone gray. The stuff that needs time and product, not a wipe.

The right first booking

If it has been more than a few months since a professional clean, start here. A standard clean after a deep clean holds much better.

Honest about condition

If your home needs more than you asked for, you hear it from Sherbek before we start — not as a surprise on the invoice.

What a deep clean adds

Everything below is part of the job, not an upsell. If you need something that is not here, ask and it gets priced in from the start.

  • Baseboards and trim hand-wiped
  • Door frames, doors and handles
  • Light switches and outlet plates
  • Vents and exhaust fan covers

Kitchen extras

Questions about Deep Cleaning

How much longer does a deep clean take?
Usually around twice as long as a standard clean of the same home. It is the biggest job we do short of a construction cleanup.
How often do people get one?
Most once or twice a year, or as the first clean before starting a recurring plan. Homes with pets or heavy use tend toward twice.
Is it worth it if I clean regularly myself?
Usually yes, at least once. The parts that get skipped are the ones that need equipment and time rather than effort.
How long does a deep clean take?
Considerably longer than a standard clean of the same house, and the difference is mostly in the kitchen and bathrooms. Sherbek gives you a duration with the quote, and if the house turns out to be well beyond what was described he raises it before starting rather than after.
Do I need a deep clean before starting recurring visits?
If the home has not had a professional clean in the last six months, yes, and a standard clean will disappoint you. A standard clean maintains a level that has already been reached; it does not get into grout, trim, exhaust fans or behind furniture. Deep clean once, then maintain.
What does a deep clean include that a standard clean does not?
Baseboards and trim by hand, door frames and doors, behind and underneath furniture, buildup in grout, light fixtures, vent and exhaust fan covers, and the tops of things nobody looks at. A standard clean covers surfaces you use; a deep clean covers the ones you do not.
